For decades hip hop stars have paid tribute to the “big booty”. The full, round and shapely asset is so sought after that , women have taken to getting butt implants just to fill out (or spill out of) their jeans.
Little do they know that having big booty comes at a price…
Some are subtle, others are ridiculous, but all of them are rip-you-hair-out annoying. Here is a list of some of the most common issues us girls blessed with a large derriere have.
1. Skinny jeans never fit you properly
Finding skinny jeans are a nightmare: they are either too small for your hips or too big for your calves. It is near impossible to find a pair of jeans that fits your whole leg properly.
2. Pulling out wedgies is a mining expedition
When your panties ride up or your thong travels in too deep, you can’t subtly fix yourself up. Having a big bum means having more flesh to dig through when retrieving that small, irritating piece of cloth.
3. Skirts and dresses are always too short at the back
Big bums magically transform knee high skirts into minis and minis into underwear. The protruding asset needs more material to cover it up. This means you are always pulling your skirt down or you walk around with your butt sticking out.
4. Lying on your back for long is out of the question
The bigger the bum, the bigger the distance between the small of your back and the surface you are lying on. This distance creates a tunnel between you and the bed – one that is so uncomfortable you eventually have to turn on your side.
5. Your bum becomes an independent entity that bumps into everything
Small spaces or crowded rooms become minefields you have to navigate as your bum tends to bump into everything remotely close to you. You find yourself apologising to strangers for grinding on them when you pass by.
6. Your face plays second fiddle to your bum
There is a real problem when people compliment your bum more than your face. No amount of make-up, winks or pouting will ever be as good as your spank worthy asset.
