US Rapper Rick Ross Uses Picture Of South African Beauty To Promote His New Album

In case you missed it, multi-award winning American rapper Rick Ross, has used the image of Minnie Dlamini to promote the release of his latest album, Hood Billionaire, which was released worldwide this past Monday.

The unsolicited use of the picture caused the South African social media platforms to come to a near standstill. The picture shows a strikingly beautiful Minnie channelling her inner African warrior Queen, dressed in traditional Zulu inspired beads amongst the reeds.  

The post which caused quite a stir in the comments, received over 29714 likes in under 24hrs. Rick Ross goes on to say that he thinks the woman in the picture is beautiful.

The two celebrities have never met. “This comes a complete surprise to me. I don’t even follow Rick Ross on social media so I was very surprised when I got a call from a friend about his post. I am very flattered.” laughed Minnie.
