USA Declared Free Of Ebola As New York Doctor Makes Full Recovery

The US has been officially declared free of Ebola as the New York doctor Craig Spencer has fully recovered from the virus and has been discharged from the hospital November 11.

Mr. Spencer was the last known person in America to have tested positive for the EVD.

He was treated at a specialist unit, where he was given an experimental drug and blood plasma donated by the recovered US Ebola patient.
