Take A Good Look At A Dating Naked Game Show

Ever thought reality TV has just gone a little bit too far? Well, VH1 has pushed it to the next level with a show where the competitors are completely naked.

VH1’s new dating show Dating Naked may be the answer to all your dating problems. Or just bad TV. Or good TV. Or just very weird. I can’t decide.

According to VH1’s website, the show is “A new social experiment (which) provides daters with a radical dating experience where before they bare their souls they bare everything else first.”

Each week the contestants will go on three dates while stark naked on a “primitive island resort, far from the masks of modern society”, and at the end of it all they get to choose which of these three people they would like to date back home.

Well, it certainly is a, uh, unique experience and the trailer for the show proves the contestants are more than willing to have some fun. But it is still totally awkward. And you’d think that pick up lines would be null and void when you’re butt naked in front of someone, but you thought wrong.

Many of the contestants actually think dating naked is great. One said the experience was “freeing”. But does that only count for men and women who are attractive and are of average weight and height? What about people with disabilities? Or an ugly scar they’re not too fond of? How would you feel if a possible suitor and complete stranger saw you totally naked?
